Anaheim, CA – The Anaheim Family YMCA has named Doug Butler as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective August 7, 2023. Brent Finlay, President and CEO, reviewed an exceptional and diverse pool of candidates before thoughtfully selecting a uniquely qualified individual with over twenty-five years of financial management experience.
Doug will be responsible for serving as Chief Financial Officer, providing direction and leadership for YMCA business operations and strategic initiatives, as well as preparing financial reports for all funding sources, including foundations and grants. Doug has an MBA degree.
Doug Butler has worked in local government, higher education (CSULB and CSUF), private industry, and most recently, local non-profits. He has served as Deputy City Treasurer, Director of Budget and Finance, and Chief Financial Officer during his career. During this time, Doug has created and managed budgets from one million to seventy million, managed an investment portfolio of fifteen million, and has managed multiple grants and contracts.
