WELCOME TO

ANAHEIM FAMILY YMCA

In Orange County, no other place has a 100+ year legacy of learning and laughter with youth and adult programs like the Anaheim Family YMCA. New generations are discovering what locals have known for years — this is the best place for youth swim classes, sports programs, STEM and education courses, performing and visual arts, day and resident camps, adaptive programs for special needs teens and adults, plus recreation choices for pre-school to senior citizens. Our growing diversity of programs ensures we’re one of the best donation causes in the community, and helps us give safe options to over 7,000 kids each day after school. Whether you join for the fun, or give to the cause, you’re welcomed at the Anaheim Family YMCA.

ANAHEIM FAMILY YMCA SITE LOCATIONS!

Sure, Anaheim is our first name, but it’s not the only place that we offer ways for you and your kids to experience learning, sports and camps. See your options in Anaheim, Stanton, Cypress, La Palma, Big Bear/Arrowhead, and Catalina Island.

Anaheim Community Services is beginning a phased reopening of Pearson Park Pool and aquatics programs, in line with state and county guidelines and following public health best practices. ⁣

On Saturday, July 11, the pool will be open for public for swim lessons only. To find out more about how our modified swim lessons will work, visit anaheimymca.org. Among other changes, parents or caregivers may be asked by the instructor to attend a class to provide hands-on swim lessons instruction as needed. Private swim lessons are also available. ⁣

Please note the following programming changes:⁣

• Pre-registration is required for all programs. There will be no on-deck registration at this time.⁣
• Please enter the pool area from the east gate, on the left side of the building. At the entrances, participants will be asked a wellness questionnaire by YMCA staff and have their temperature read using a no-touch thermometer. ⁣
• Please exit the pool area via the south gate closest to Cypress Street. ⁣
• Only the program participant and one parent/guardian will be allowed in the pool area during swim lessons.⁣
• Locker rooms will be closed at this time.⁣
• Restrooms will be accessible with limitations ⁣

We are all eager to see full aquatics programs return, but we need to ensure we do our part to stem the spread of coronavirus and reopen safely and responsibly. ⁣

Thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to see you back soon.
