In Orange County, no other place has a 100+ year legacy of learning and laughter with youth and adult programs like the Anaheim Family YMCA. New generations are discovering what locals have known for years — this is the best place for youth swim classes, sports programs, STEM and education courses, performing and visual arts, day and resident camps, adaptive programs for special needs teens and adults, plus recreation choices for pre-school to senior citizens. Our growing diversity of programs ensures we’re one of the best donation causes in the community, and helps us give safe options to over 7,000 kids each day after school. Whether you join for the fun, or give to the cause, you’re welcomed at the Anaheim Family YMCA.

Sure, Anaheim is our first name, but it’s not the only place that we offer ways for you and your kids to experience learning, sports and camps. See your options in Anaheim, Stanton, Cypress, La Palma, Big Bear/Arrowhead, and Catalina Island.

“I liked math—that was my favorite subject—and I was very interested in astronomy and in physical science.” - Sally Ride, First American Woman to go into Space ⠀

Sally Kristen Ride was an American astronaut, physicist, and engineer. Born in Los Angeles, she joined NASA in 1978 and became the first American woman in space in 1983. Ride was the third woman in space overall, after USSR cosmonauts Valentina Tereshkova and Svetlana Savitskaya.⠀#anaheimymca

Since 1911, the Anaheim Family YMCA has been honored to serve its community. As one of the longest-running community organizations, it is our distinct privilege to be part of a cause-driven association of men, women, and children committed to bringing about lasting personal and social change.

Deeply rooted in our neighborhoods, the Y is a valuable asset that works to ensure that everyone — regardless of age, income or background — has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

As we celebrate 110 years of service, we thank you for supporting us. Our most recent guest speaker, Dr. John Dahlem, shared: "Always remember to work for the people that work for you." #anaheimymca

Dr. King once said, "Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’" Let's remember Dr. King’s life and re-commit ourselves as citizens to answer that question by volunteering to serve one another and our communities. #anaheimymca ...

In 1911, William Howard Taft was the 27th president of the United States (when we only had 46 states), Chevrolet officially entered the automobile market to compete with the Ford Model T and, speaking of cars, the very first Indy 500 was run! However, here in Anaheim, Charles Pearson was making news as well. The Anaheim Family YMCA is celebrating its 110th anniversary in November of this year and is inviting the community to take part in the celebration.

As one of the longest-running community organizations, it is our distinct privilege to be a diverse and inclusive organization, foundational to developing and engaging everyone across the entire Y spectrum. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our families and our neighbors. We work to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity.

Our Mission, and our dedication to service, started in 1911 and continues to be strengthened, allowing us to embrace, reflect and celebrate each other and the communities we serve. #anaheimymca #110yearsofservice
