The Anaheim Family YMCA is proud to announce the appointment of Jesse Pazdernik as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 19, 2026.
Jesse brings more than 20 years of experience within the YMCA movement and a lifelong passion for youth development, community engagement, and strengthening families. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Los Altos Family YMCA in Long Beach, where he has led strategic growth, expanded community partnerships, and supported impactful fundraising efforts.
Originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Jesse began his YMCA journey as a youth sports instructor while attending University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. After graduating, he moved to San Diego, where he spent 15 years growing within one of the nation’s largest YMCA associations. During that time, he held multiple leadership roles, gaining extensive experience in operations, program development, and community-focused initiatives.
In 2019, Jesse stepped into his role as Executive Director in Long Beach, where he has continued to champion opportunities for youth and families to learn, grow, and thrive. Throughout his career, he has helped lead fundraising efforts totaling more than $8.5 million in support of transformative programs and future capital development.
Beyond his professional work, Jesse remains deeply connected to the community. He serves on a local Little League board and is passionate about youth sports and mentorship. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married for nearly nine years and are the proud parents of three children. In his free time, he enjoys playing softball and basketball, attending sporting events with his family, and participating in church programs.
As CEO, Jesse will lead the Anaheim Family YMCA in advancing its mission to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. His leadership marks an exciting new chapter for the organization and the communities it serves.
