The Anaheim Family YMCA has teamed up with the Orange County Soccer Club (OCSC) for a new one-year partnership making an impact in the Anaheim & regional communities of N. Orange County through health equity and youth programming. As part of the collaboration, OCSC serves as the “Official Youth Soccer Technical Partner” for the Anaheim Family YMCA’s youth soccer league.
The partnership also includes integrated content and branding opportunities within YMCA soccer facilities. Throughout the upcoming year, the two organizations will also work together to identify and offer a range of experiences and opportunities to grow the game of soccer, train volunteer coaches while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for Anaheim’s youth.
“Youth soccer is the fastest growing sport in America and it’s not even close. The Y is proud to be providing skill developing matches and training that models the European and Mexican style of training for young players,” said Brent Finlay, President & CEO of the Anaheim Family YMCA. “With the World Cup coming to the United States in 2026, we see massive growth in kids playing soccer at the Y with all kids getting their best start and enjoying the world’s game!”
