DESCRIPTION:The Anaheim Family YMCA is excited to invite you and your family to our LA28 Day of Sports\, a special community event celebrating the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Join us for a fun-filled day of sports\, movement\, and family activities where participants of all ages can try new sports\, build skills\, and celebrate the values of teamwork\, inclusion\, and healthy living inspired by LA28. \n Saturday\, June 27th\, 2026 \n Event Locations:  \n\nDowntown Anaheim Youth Center\nCenter Greens Park\nAnaheim Family YMCA Community Complex\nPearson Park Pool!\n\n Event Schedule: \n\n\n\n\n9:05-9:50am Gymnastics Demos (Ages 2-4yrs)\nStudents will be able to learn & participate in different Gymnastic Skills\nDAYC\n\n\n10am-10:15am Welcome Ceremony & Opening Parade\nChildren and parents will participate in the opening parade & receive event T- Shirt\nDAYC\n\n\n10:15-11:15am Gymnastics Demos (Ages 5-12yrs)\nStudents will be able to learn & participate in different Gymnastic Skills\nDAYC\n\n\n10:30am-10:55am Volleyball Demos (Ages 7-10yrs)\nPlayers will learn basic volleyball skills through fun drills and activities\nDAYC\n\n\n11am-11:30am Basketball Demos (Ages 3-6yrs)\nPlayers will learn basic basketball skills through fun drills and games\nDAYC\n\n\n11:30am-12:15pm Soccer Demo (Ages 7-12yrs)\nPlayers will participate in fun soccer relay drills and finish with a Kids vs. Parents penalty shootout\nYMCA Community Complex\n\n\n12:30pm-12:45pm Closing Ceremony\nCelebration for all participants and conclude the event with medal presentations\nPearson Park Pool\n\n\n2:30pm-4:30pm Swim\nPublic swim hours\nPearson Park Pool\n\n\n\n  \n\n\nRegister Now
