Our Special Needs Programs help individuals gain confidence, promote independence and responsibility, help participants socialize and work with others, as well as nurture a healthy and active lifestyle.
All programs are led by qualified YMCA individuals who help promote a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
Adults with disabilities are invited to come to our Peter Pan themed dance with music, friends and fun! Light refreshments will be provided. Participants that require assistance must be accompanied by a caregiver or family member who can attend free of charge.
Adaptive monthly bowling leagues for all adults with all disabilities once a week. Learn the basics of bowling in a fun and safe environment. For 4 saturdays.
Teens and adults focus on the many facets of musical theater including singing, dancing, acting and attending performing arts events in the community. At the end of the Musical Theater season, the actors participate in a Musical Theater performance to showcase their diverse talents.
Held on Friday evenings, this is a wonderful opportunity for participants to engage in social events and recreational activities that most adults enjoy, as well as strengthen and build independent living, and socialization skills. Activities include arts, cooking, music, and much more.
