Programs For Teens and Adults
Our Special Needs Programs help individuals gain confidence, promote independence and responsibility, help participants socialize and work with others, as well as nurture a healthy and active lifestyle. All programs are led by qualified YMCA individuals who help promote a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
Adaptive Musical Theater Program & Special Friends Social (ages 16+)
Featuring scenes and songs from the musical Seussical
Teens and adults with special needs experience the many facets of musical theater: singing, dancing, acting, and performing. At the end of the 9 week program, actors showcase their diverse talents in a final performance and Special Friends Social.
Location: 100 S Atchison Street, Anaheim 92805
Fee: $55 for 9 weeks
Spring Season runs March 28th – May 23rd
Summer Season runs June 6th – August 8th (no class July 4th)
Class meets Thursdays, 6:30-8:00pm
Final Performance & Social on last class
Participants that require assistance must be accompanied by a caregiver or family member who can attend free of charge.
