Overnight, day or specialty camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lifelong friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.
From Camp Osceola in the 1920s to today, YMCA Camp is a tradition in Anaheim. Whether exploring Catalina Island at Camp Fox, the wilderness at Camp Miehana, a camp for special needs youth at Camp Together or a Day Camp close to home, hundreds of campers have the opportunity to have life-changing experiences and personal discovery.
The Anaheim Family YMCA’s award-winning, accredited camp programs are run by trained volunteer leaders and staff, who have dedicated their lives to helping young people grow physically, mentally and spiritually. Camp leaders are sensitive to every youth’s diverse needs and unique personalities and strive to create a valuable experience for everyone.
