The Anaheim Family YMCA, Salvation Army and Magnolia School District are in a second successful year of the Y.E.S. Program (Youth and Education through Swimming), a community collaboration that brings swimming to third-graders as a means to improve their health, water safety and overall development.

Y Basketball teams make caring baskets to show thanks

In this spirit of thanksgiving, the Y Basketball Teams made 20 “Caring” baskets to give to Anaheim families in need.

Over 200 Showcase their Sports Learning

Recently, over 200 Sports families came together for the YMCA 2011 Sports Showcase. Youth showcased ballet & tap, karate, cheer leading, gymnastics, youth fitness, and tumbling routines.

YMCA Celebrates 100 Years in Anaheim

2011 marks a major milestone in Anaheim—the 100^th anniversary of the Anaheim Family YMCA. More than 200 people came together on November 8 at the Anaheim Marriott to reconnect and celebrate the heritage of the Anaheim Family YMCA—and officially launch its second century of service.
